What is an endoscopic brow lift?

Endoscopic Brow LiftThere are several options for a brow lift.  Factors such as age, genetics, and your goals play a big role in the method you choose to raise the brows.  That being said, an endoscopic brow lift utilizes special equipment, called an endoscope.  Because of this special equipment, the brow lift procedure only requires 2-3 small incisions that are hidden in the hair line.

The source of the creases and furrows can be treated by repositioning the underlying tissue and muscles of the forehead.  This means less scarring and also less issues with numbness around the incisions as well.  However be aware that this procedure will only create a mild lift.

If a heavier lift is needed, you may need to choose a more traditional brow lift procedure.  Other typical brow lift procedures include pretrichial brow lifts, trans bleph endotine brow lifts, and the more old-fashioned coronal brow lifts.  And of course there is the non invasive Botox procedure as well.  A consult with your surgeon will help you determine the best course of action for your needs.
